Allen Professional Search, London office, is currently recruiting for a Contract Manufacturing / Process Engineer for one of our clients, an automotive supplier, located in Windsor area. This is a one year contract.

Responsibilities:

-           Manage launch activities such as run at rate, process development and all pre-production

-           Develop, plan and implement cell and layouts

-           Oversee the design, purchase, installation and operation of all plant equipment

-           Optimize manufacturing operations (production methods and processes) on a continuous basis

-           Analyze utilization, layout, workflow and shop floor inventory control; initiate appropriate improvement activities

-           Participate in a cross-functional internal continuous improvement activities and document aspects of R&D for claiming purposes

Requirements:

-           Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing or Mechanical

-           3-5 years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment, automation and assembly preferred

-           CET designation (or higher) or Certification in Continuous Improvement or Lean manufacturing an asset

-           Ability to operate a CAD system (preferably CADKEY or Keycreator)
