Job Description
Key Account Manager
Our Windsor, ON based client is recruiting for a Key Account Manager to add to their growing organization. This role will support the automotive business unit and will work to develop relationships with tier 1 clients.Responsibilities:
- Promotional activity of company products, through recurring visits to customers’ plants collecting, analyzing and referring to the headquarters all requests and clients technical needs;
- Cooperating with the headquarters to develop more and more effective products suitable for the market;
- Cooperate with the headquarters and with the commercial direction to set suitable sales strategies for Automotive;
- Coordinating foreign branches and Head Office in all sales activities towards Tier 1, for what concerns his/her area;
- Analyzing target area, market and competitor trends;
- Updating of CRM with inserting reports, visits done, clients information and new ongoing projects for the respective business;
- Management and monitoring of overall product performance and plant specific issues (together with SSE and Sales managers);
- With support of the Automotive Sales Director and General Manager, provide commercial negotiation of client requests (rebate, spare parts, warranty, technical assistance);
- Visit Tier 1(s) project/tooling managers to modify /insert plant specifications for injection mold tooling standards;
- Visit technical managers in various plants to introduce company services;
- Management of international projects;
- Post-Secondary education in related field
- 10+ years of Sales Account Management in Automotive field preferred
- Must have well developed network within Tier 1 clients in Windsor and the U.S.A
- Strong knowledge of injection molding tooling
- Excellent relationship builder with strong persuasive presentation skills
- Must be open to travel
