Driver Recruiter - Windsor Location
SE Freight Systems Inc. is currently hiring for a Driver Recruiter to support our growing operations in the Windsor market.
The Driver Recruiter is responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing and hiring qualified Driver applicants to improve Driver retention and safety standards.
Job Overview:
Source, interview and screen company drivers and brokers to fill existing openings while maintaining current knowledge of transportation legislation and MTO guidelines
Introduce driver openings to prospective company drivers and owner operators/brokers
Post and manage job openings on various recruiting sites. Participate in job fairs and open houses as required to meet recruiting needs.
Follow up on various recruiting leads, handle incoming calls regarding openings and postings and screen various applicants to move forward in the hiring process
Conduct interviews of qualified candidates. Evaluate and conduct orientations and oversee the paperwork needed for hiring purposes.
Make conditional job offers to candidates that meet hiring criteria.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience – hiring of AZ company drivers and owner operators
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work load
Effective interpersonal communication skills – both oral and written
Interviewing skills to include the ability to listen and analyze answers
Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Travel will be required for this position on occasion as we hire in several SW Ontario markets including GTA, Windsor and in Michigan
Valid Passport and ability to cross the border is required.
