Job Description
Lucas Professional Search Group is currently recruiting for a I.T. Project Manager for a leading organization in Windsor, Ontario.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple complex business and information technology projects concurrently
Develop detailed project plans for all assigned projects and ensure that plans are communicated and agreed to by all stakeholders
Collaborate with senior management and project stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables that support business goals
Develop and maintain high quality project documentation
Lead group project meetings and effectively document key decisions and action items
Work with management stakeholders to identify and actively manage project risks
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel and monitor task progress
Coordinate project activities with related third parties
Provide regular status reports to senior management
Prioritize and schedule work with input from stakeholders
Ensure that project issues are resolved in a timely manner
Ensure that projects are implemented on time, on budget and to quality standards
Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
Perform other project management duties as required
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of three years’ experience in Project Management in an insurance, financial services, healthcare or technology based company
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent people management skills
Strong analytical skills
Proven leadership ability
Ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities and timelines
Proficient with MS Project and Excel
Assets:
Professional designation in Project Management
Experience managing IT infrastructure or software development projects
Experience with call center operations
