Our Windsor based client is a leading manufacturer of precision machined parts.  Due to anticipated growth we are recruiting for a full time Continuous Improvement Leader to join their team.  We require a change agent charged with implementing Lean Manufacturing principles throughout the Windsor Manufacturing facility.  The successful candidate will promote a continuous improvement culture by leading kaizen activities while educating and promoting Lean business thinking.  There is unquestioned growth and advancement opportunity for the right individual.  A summary of responsibilities and qualifications are listed below:
 
Responsibilities:
 

• Problem solving using analytical tools and techniques and facilitate implementation of solutions.
• Train and educate Lean/Continuous Improvement tools, techniques and principles to build capabilities.
• Manage Lean/Continuous Improvement projects to schedule, including assisting others in managing projects.
• Establish Lean/Continuous Improvement practices throughout the value stream.
• Perform process studies and/or time studies to baseline current methods.

 
 
Qualifications:
 

• Post-Secondary or equivalent in a related field.
• 5 years minimum and directly related experience.
• Technical background in machining as well as problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbally and written.
• Ability to drive results through team and individual activities.
