Job Description
StarTech.com is currently looking for a Product Verification Specialist to join our Product Development team at our Corporate Office in London, Ontario.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Product Development, the Product Verification Specialist makes an impact by working closely with the Development team to ensure that new product samples perform as expected, are compliant, and are designed/manufactured to technical specifications (i.e.: USB, PCIe, HDMI, DP, etc.) This position offers a competitive salary, bonus potential, and benefit package.

What You Will Gain
- Experience performing testing for various product lines including Cables, Audio-Video, Networking, I/O Cards, Data Storage, Server Management, and Computer Parts
- Direct participation in the creation and execution of test strategies, processes and procedures as required for the verification tasks of specific product. Includes verification of hardware, embedded firmware/drivers, application software, and system level testing
- The ability to become a Subject Matter Expert on key technologies as well as advance test equipment (protocol analyzer, oscilloscope, etc.), including but not limited to HDMI, USB, DisplayPort, PCI Express, etc.
- Experience facilitating consistency in test design strategies, methodologies and best practices, as well as promoting the reuse of already existing concepts, solutions and tools;
- The opportunity to identify and implement best practices in design verification in support of the StarTech.com Product Launch Process.
What You Can Show Us
- A post-secondary education, ideally in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Superior technical abilities and a passion for technology, new products, hardware, software and product quality
- Ability to multi-task across multiple simultaneous projects
- In-depth understanding of various operating systems (Windows, Mac OS X, Linux)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
