Job Description
Our client, a well-known automotive manufacturer located in Windsor, Ontario is in search of a Manufacturing Engineer in a Controls position to join their team on a 12 month contract.
Description:
Use Plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation, review and follow up automation project's and installations Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other automation problems Update program backups for automation Program new installations of Body tooling and conveyor systems.
Reprogram automation for engineering changes and improvements Coordinate automation campaigns
Skills Required:
-Must possess Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls
-Must possess the ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly through route cause analysis and drive change back to the production departments.
-Must display strong customer orientation with a commitment to upholding plant processes through strict adherence to the Quality Operating System.
-Must have a proven willingness to take a participatory approach to union relations and be a team player
Experience Required:
Controls engineering experience preferred
Unionized setting experience preferred
Bachelor degree / technical diploma in electrical engineering
