G-Tel Engineering Inc. is looking for Damage Prevention Technicians in Windsor for early 2016.

Damage Prevention Technicians (DPT) locate the underground utilities in a prescribed area. Using company provided equipment the DPT’s will identify the underground utility, mark the area and create drawings of the located area and utility services using a computer.
Successful Damage Prevention Technician candidates will have the following skills and experience:
 

• Can work independently with the ability to manage their work schedule to ensure deadlines are met
• Have an excellent safety & attendance record
• Be computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Exhibit good customer services skills
• Be physically able to do the job which includes walking ditches, walking on uneven surfaces, lifting up to 9kg (20 lbs)
• Have a valid Full G Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract
• Be able to work weekends, on call and overtime (April - October as the workload dictates)
• Have some knowledge of radio detection equipment
