Job Description

We are currently recruiting for full-time Healthcare Customer Service Representative for our Windsor location. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing support in the storefront area as it pertains to oxygen and CPAP therapy, and facilitate the administrative aspects of branch operations, while continuing to promote VitalAire’s safety and quality practices.
 
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Provides friendly and helpful service to customers
  • Sales and maintenance of respiratory and CPAP inventory for the branch
  • Sales of oxygen and CPAP supplies to walk-in and call in clients
  • Jointly books CPAP appointments for the branch
  • Informs clients of the requirements to meet funding program criteria
  • Contributes to team effort by working with and supporting other staff to achieve optimal customer service
  • Assists healthcare professionals with the completion of necessary forms
  • Facilitates payments by preparing funding documents
  • Provides support for supervisors/managers, sales and healthcare staff
  • Contributes to a safe work environment by obeying safety rules and working and encouraging others to perform in a safe manner
  • Seeks to continuously improve the operation of the branch by understanding processes and work flow and participating in quality improvement activities
  • Maintains client confidence and protects VitalAire operations by keeping information confidential
  • Protects clients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols
  • Contributes to the growth of VitalAire by providing information and giving demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Primary contact at the branch for billing for the Customer Care Centre
 
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
 
  • Experience working in a medical environment with a strong focus on customer service and administration is required
  • Completion of a medical office administration program
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role with a strong administrative focus
  • Strong team player with proven leadership skills
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) with strong data entry skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Superior focus on customer service
  • Ability to work independently
  • Able to work flexible hours in order to provide service to our customers for extended hours
