Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:
As the 2nd / 3rd shift Maintenance Technician based out of our further-processing egg processing facility in Etobicoke, ON, you will report to the Plant Manager and be responsible to assist with standardization of best practices within the Maintenance Team by ensuring optimal performance for all plant equipment through performing inspections, repairs and modifications while ensuring food safety requirements are met.
Principal Accountabilities:
40% - Perform general plant repairs and work order follow-up, and complete Preventative Maintenance (PM).
30% - Complete equipment process troubleshooting and repairs, also daily task and duties.
20% - Assure stakeholder safety, Food Safety and all regulatory requirements are upheld. Ensure Food Safety compliance and report any Food Safety issues.
5% - Participate in implementation of Reliability and Maintenance and PM Programs to operate within cost goals and budgetary restrictions, and that all regulatory requirements are upheld.
5% - Communicate effectively with managers and team members concerning safety, quality and all assigned daily tasks (verbal and written)
