Vari-Form Inc. is a leader in advanced tube hydroforming technology for the development and manufacture of products used by the automotive industry. Vari-Form Inc. has three facilities in Strathroy, Ontario and additional sites located in USA, Italy, China, and Mexico.  Vari-Form Inc. is a division of the Crowne Group who is a leading manufacturer of automotive and industrial components to the Original Equipment (OE) and Aftermarket (AM) industries.
 
We currently have an opening for the below position at our Strathroy, Ontario location.  Reporting to the General Manager, this position maintains the Global Financial Consolidation system and prepares reporting/analysis. Responsible for the control and integrity of the general ledgers, financial reporting systems, and internal controls in each of Vari-Form’s companies.
 
Company Controller
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Consolidation and translation in US dollars of the financial results of the Vari-Form businesses
2. Preparation of various reporting packages for Management discussion and analysis of results
3. Preparation and consolidation of budgets and short-term and long-term forecasting
4. Direct Supervision of Strathroy Controller, & Accounting Manager with indirect supervision of all distant Controllers
5. Internal auditing for compliance with all Company policies & procedures

Educational Requirements and Skills:

1. Professional Accounting Designation (mandatory)
2. Finance University Degree / College Diploma (preferred)
3. Minimum of 10 years’ experience as Group Controller in global automotive industry (mandatory)
4. Problem solving abilities in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Must have advanced computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office products. 
6. Ability to travel out of country.
