Job Description
Our client in the Stoney Creek area is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Dimensional Inspection Technician for a 3 month contract.
In this role, you would be responsible for performing dimensional inspection, using hand-held instruments, and determining a pass or fail on components.
Requirements:
- Approximately 2 years of experience in quality control / incoming inspection
- Experience in the handling and use of inspection instruments (calipers, micrometers, telescoping gages, height gages, gage pins, gage blocks, surface plates)
- Able to understand engineering drawings and geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing
- Able to complete a hand written dimensional inspection report
- Able to complete a computer generated dimensional inspection report
- Understanding of non-conformances
