A quality, highly recognized organization located in Southwestern Ontario is recruiting for a team-oriented, energetic Assistant Controller to join their high functioning team. As an integral part of the team, the Assistant Controller will report to a Controller who leads by example and is an excellent coach and mentor to their staff. This position will interact with Human Resources, payroll, accounts payable and purchasing as well as vendors, customers, and banks. This highly collaborative Assistant Controller will be accountable for bi-weekly payroll, month end and year end accounting as well as assisting in other areas where required.

 

In order to be part of this exciting team, you will possess the following:

• Thorough knowledge of accounting policies and computerized accounting systems
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Multi-tasker and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• CPA (or working towards) with a minimum of 3-5 years experience
• Previous experience implementing new financial modules into an ERP system will be beneficial
