We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with excellent attendance practices to join our team.

Our manufacturing facility located in Ingersoll is seeking an experienced Packaging Sanitation worker.

Responsibilities:

• Must have a good understanding of sanitation practices;
• Must be willing to go through extensive training. This training includes but is not limited to chemical training, micro training, lift truck training and SSOP training;
• Must be willing to scrub extensively, to foam using chemicals and to perform all other tasks as is required to ensure cleanliness ;
• Must follow SSOP’s and perform tasks as specified by the Supervisory team;
• This position requires one to work in close conjunction with the supervisors and Quality Assurance in order to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity;
• Must be willing to work at different heights using ladders, scissor lifts and any other devices, which enable one to perform tasks in that environment as required;
• Must be able to follow directions meticulously and thoroughly with minimal supervision;
• Must be available to work shift including overtime as required;
• Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds;
• Adopt and adhere to all standard operating practices and Health and Safety procedures;
• Be accountable for compliance with established HACCP, Food Safety and GMP protocols;
• Must have excellent attendance practices and perform other jobs and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous sanitation experience in a food manufacturing facility ;
• Ability to troubleshoot is required;
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment is required;
• Effective communication and decision making skills are required;
• Ability to rotate shifts, work weekends and work overtime as necessary ;
• Previous food experience is an asset.
