Job Description

Lucas Professional Search Group is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Specialist – Project Management to lead system implementation and head recruitment efforts for one of Windsor’s leading manufacturing facilities.  Use your experience to help this growing organization progress and hire the best and brightest talent. This is a contract for 6 months +

 Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Hands on project management, implementation and systemization
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Maintain HRIS system
  • Compile, track, analyze and report HR data
  • Plan, develop, implement and evaluate strategies, policies and programs
  • Provide data for strategic planning and change management
  • Ensure compliance and keep up to date with human resources regulations, standards and guidelines
  • Work with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs
  • Recruit talent in a multi-site organization across various locations within Canada and the United States
  • Full cycle recruitment which includes posting jobs, reviewing resumes, pre-screening, interviewing, reference verifications, salary negotiations and offers of employment
  • Utilize resume databases, job boards, networking activities and direct sourcing to source, pre-screen, interview and match qualified candidates to open positions
  • Liaise with hiring managers to identify staffing requirements and cost effective recruiting strategies
  • Maintain continuous follow-up with hiring managers and candidates to ensure the recruitment process is consistent and timely

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources
  • Certified Human Resources Professional Designation preferred
  • 3+ years project/system implementation experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS/time keeping systems
  • Experience recruiting for various levels of positions within different countries
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and flexible to change
  • Superior communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects at one time
  • Excellent time management and leadership skills
