ARVA Industries, located in St. Thomas Ontario, is offering and excellent opportunity for a professional who has extensive experience in diesel design engineering and design management.
Major duties:
Four-month contract

ARVA Industries, located in St. Thomas Ontario, is offering and excellent opportunity for a professional who has extensive experience in diesel design engineering and design management.
Major duties:
- Lead the upgrade and integration of a diesel engine, including related components and structure, into existing revenue rail car.
- Concept modeling and detail design in Solidworks
- Write and update detailed status and project reports
- Participate in design reviews with both internal and external customers
- Perform design and analysis of parts, components and systems
- Other duties as required
- Comprehensive knowledge of diesel design engineering principles and practices
- Strong mechanical design fundamentals
- Design management experience is an asset
- CAD modeling and drafting experience, ideally in Solidworks
Four-month contract
