- Evaluate existing operations and develop strategies for cross-functional improvement activities
- Provide operational support for the plants to facilitate successful improvement activities
- Ramp-up of the Brose Production System in three new facilities
- Create and implement regional Production System standards and best practices within North American region
- Perform and follow up of Production System Audits
- Consolidate the plants' requirements as input to regional Production System Projects and implement those projects in close cooperation with the central Quality, HR, Logistics and Industrial Engineering
- Facilitate learning partnerships within the global production network and identify best practices
- Identify and communicate best practices using external benchmark
- Train and facilitate the qualification of the Production System Teams in lean tools
- Support the implementation of the regional network
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a four-year college or university, Master or MBA preferred
- 3-5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferable in the automotive industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Management Tools (e.g. Value Stream Analysis, Balancing, Kanban, Standardized Work, 5S)
- Demonstrated experience of Continuous Improvement (CI) activities
- Audit Experience
- Proficient experience in Project Management
- Ramp up experience
