Design Group Staffing has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Inside Service Representative
for our client an industrial supplier in Chatham, Ontario.

Role Overview & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will develop relationships with key customer contacts for existing customers identifying ways to improve customer’s profitability in a proactive manner.
You must be comfortable at up-selling customers to new more efficient, more easily installed or maintained product and rapidly respond to customers immediate requirements while monitoring complaints, following up on outstanding orders, after hours calls, and deliveries as necessary.
Regularly source difficult to find products and reduce lead times while maintaining up to date knowledge of company's product and service offerings
Participate and cooperate with branch and corporate initiatives and policies including the Quality Management System; support the Policies and Procedures as they relate to the company policy manual
Take personal responsibility for training and Professional Development and maintaining highest regard for safety and housekeeping
Required Qualifications (education, knowledge and skills):
Post-Secondary education, preferably mechanical in nature, or significant industry experience
8-10 plus years industry experience
Customer Service Oriented, able to handle inquiries from a wide range of customers, communicating effectively exhibiting highly organizational behaviour
Able to work in a team environment, specifically the ability to accept responsibilities and to actively look for ways to deepen their involvement with key customers
Conduct yourself in a professional manner as the “face of the company” while demonstrating a strong mechanical aptitude
Computer Skills: Outlook, Word, Excel
