Lucas Professional Search Group is recruiting for a Corporate MRO Buyer.  The main role of the Corporate MRO Buyer will be to source a variety of commodities including MRO items and service contracts.
 
The successful candidate will:

• Assist with the development a procurement strategy
• Assist with the sourcing of a variety of commodities
• Source new vendors and suppliers
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with new and existing suppliers and vendors
• Manage and organize new and incoming inventory in the warehouse
• Create corporate contracts

 
The successful candidate will have:

• 3 years experience in a purchasing/buyer role specifically within an automotive environment
• Be familiar with AS400 systems
• 2-4 years experience negotiating contracts, sourcing new vendors and researching competitors
• Knowledge of inventory management and control
• Strong computer knowledge and skills
