Our client, a highly respected automotive manufacturer, in Windsor Ontario is currently looking to add a Controls Engineer to their team. A background with troubleshooting and debugging automated equipment for the automotive sector is a must.  This is a 10 month contract with possibility of extensions.

Description:
*Support daily manufacturing operations through troubleshooting, debugging and modifying of Electrical systems of automated machine controls(logic), optimizing production with area maintenance and supervision in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
*Develop, coordinate and direct the installation of electronic and computerized systems for on-line control, measurement and monitoring of industrial equipment, facilities and operations, all with the support of other technical and systems operations.
*Approve drawings, purchase equipment, control project cost, delivery, timing, installation and launch to the companies specifications. *Interface with area personnel to drive continuing improvements to process controls and to approve designs, equipment concepts

Skills Required:
*Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering preferred.
*Experience preferred in high production Manufacturing Environment.
*Knowledge of machine control logic and hardware.

Skills Preferred:
Candidates will have extensive controls and programmable logic experience as well as solid manufacturing experience. Candidates will also have well developed, interpersonal,organizational and motivational skills.

Experience Required:
*Controls and programmable logic experience as well as solid manufacturing experience preferred

Education Required:
*Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering preferred.
