Maintenance Technician II
Etobicoke, ON
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible to assist with standardization of best practices within the Maintenance Team by ensuring optimal performance for all plant equipment through performing inspections, repairs and modifications while ensuring food safety requirements are met.
Principal Accountabilities:
30% - Perform general plant repairs and work order follow-up, and complete Preventative Maintenance (PM) as assigned.
20% - Complete equipment and process troubleshooting and repairs.
15% - Assure stakeholder safety, Food Safety and all regulatory requirements are upheld. Ensure Food Safety compliance and report any Food Safety issues.
10% - Participate in implementation of R&M and PM Programs to operate within cost goals and budgetary restrictions, and that all regulatory requirements are upheld.
15% - Communicate effectively with managers and team members concerning safety, quality and all assigned daily tasks (verbal and written)
10% - Complete other daily tasks and duties as assigned.
