Job Description
Our client, a successful manufacturer in Southwestern Ontario, is currently searching for a proven and driven Plant Manager to oversee their facility. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a candidate who is looking to be a part of an organization who values their employees while positioning for future growth.
The Plant Manager will oversee the facility and lead the operations teams ensuring that service levels and quality standards exceed customer expectations. The Plant Manager will also ensure daily operations remain efficient and cost effective, including; monitoring production, labour, logistics, and material costs, developing production and manpower scheduling to meet customer demands, as well as implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
The Plant Manager will be accountable for proactive team leadership and to ensure that all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations are adhered to as well as leading, coaching, developing, and mentoring employees.
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of successful manufacturing engineering experience in a leadership position
- Degree/Diploma in an Engineering or related field of study
- Knowledge and experience with plastic injection molding, ISO, and quality processes
- Proven understanding and experience in lean manufacturing
- Exceptional leadership and change management skills, with an ability to implement and manage effective change
- Proven operational, financial, costing and inventory management experience and implementation of manufacturing best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior analytical and critical thinking skills
