InMedic Pain management Centres offer a unique approach to pain management, one that combines cutting-edge Western Medicine with balanced Eastern Practices. An approach we call Fusion Medicine. Our 8,000 s.f., state-of-the-art-clinic offers specialized treatment rooms equipped with the latest technology - including Ultrasound Guided Nerve Blocks in a community pain centre. We currently have a need for a full time Family Physician at our Tecumseh clinic located at 13158 Tecumseh Road East Unit 4. We also welcome Physicians looking to expand the scope of practice to include Chronic Pain Management - accredited on site training available at our approved facility.

About the Career:
As a Physician with InMedic you will:

• Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures and consult with other medical practitioners and our allied health practitioners to evaluate patients' health;
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments;
• Provide chronic pain care management;
• Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention;
• Co-ordinate and manage primary patient care;

About the Skills Required:
As a Family Physician with InMedic you possess:

• Completion of University eduction;
• Completion of Medical School;
• Two to Three years of family medicine residency;
• Completion of Medical Counsel of Canada Examinations (LMCC I and LMCCII);
• 1 + year experience in pain management care;
• 1 + year clinical medicine experience;

Salary: $150 - $175 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week.

This is a permanent position for our clinic in Tecumseh. Criminal Record check required.
