The North American Stamping Group consist of six stamping facilities in Canada, the USA and Mexico. We are an automotive tier 2 metal stamper, welder and assembler. Our facility located in Woodstock Ontario is currently recruiting to fill the following position:

Maintenance Robotic Mig & Resistance Welding Technician

Responsibilities will include:

·Programming and troubleshooting of  Motoman, & Panasonic robots.

·Allan Bradley PLC troubleshooting and programming

·Programming and troubleshooting Medar weld controls

·Resistance &, Mig welding troubleshooting

·Develop and implement cost saving and continuous improvement ideas

·Assisting in automation development and new cell installation.

·Willingness to assist in miscellaneous maintenance activities as required.

·Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

·The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years experience working with MIG and Resistance welding, Robotics and PLC’s.

·College or industry degree in Welding, PLC programming, industrial electrical, or robotic equipment.

·Proficient in utilizing MS Office

·Ability to work rotating shifts.
