Location: Remote Work / Telecommute; Reporting to head office in Sarnia, ON
Bonus: Annual Based On Performance 
Salary: $43,000 to $56,000 based on experience
Benefits: Full package available following successful probationary period
 
DUTIES include but are not limited to:
  •  Administering a virtual/physical server environments for multiple clients
  • Setup and support of hardware (including servers, thin clients, PC's, network hardware, printers, telephones).
  • Setup and support of software (including desktop & server applications)
  • Resolving incidents within agreed service levels.
  • Technical input into infrastructure changes following change management processes.
  • Support for Exchange/Office 365, Active Directory & Hyper-V platforms.
  • Identify underlying problems discovered during day-to-day operations and managing them to resolution.
  • Resolve / Troubleshoot issues as they come in from desktop users and automated systems
 REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  •  Strong problem solving skills and logical thinking processes
  • Installing, configuring & supporting Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012, Active Directory, Exchange 2003 & 2010, SQL 2005, 2008 & 2012, Windows 7, 8.1 &10
  • Installing, configuring and supporting of Hyper-V
  • Networking & Security – TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall
  • The successful candidate will also have experience with a variety of IT administration & management applications
HOME OFFICE REQUIREMENTS:

Connectivity & Hardware
Subscription to high-speed, hard-wired, bi-directional Internet connection. LEADWAVE will provide a cell phone and laptop.
 
Workspace
The employee shall designate a workspace within the remote work location for placement and installation of equipment to be used while teleworking. The employee shall maintain this workspace in a safe condition, free from hazards and other dangers to the employee and equipment. The company must approve the site chosen as the employee’s remote workspace. Employee is expected to submit three photos of the home workspace to management prior to implementation.
 
Any company materials taken home must be authorized by management and should be kept in the designated work area at home and not be made accessible to others.
 
Management has the right to make on-site visits (with 48 hours advance notice) to the remote work location for purposes of determining that the site is safe and free from hazards, and to maintain, repair, inspect, or retrieve company-owned equipment, software, data or supplies.
 
Office Supplies
Office supplies will be provided by LEADWAVE as needed. Out-of-pocket expenses for other supplies will not be reimbursed unless by prior approval of the employee’s manager.
 
Communication
Employees must be available by phone and email during core hours. All client interactions will be conducted on a client or company site. Employees will be required to be available for monthly staff meetings, and other meetings deemed necessary by management.
 
Travel
The employee with be reimbursed for mileage and accommodation costs as necessary for attending monthly staff meetings and/or project kick-off meetings at the head office.
