We are currently seeking applicants for the position of:  Senior Project Manager
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of project management
• Supervise junior project management staff
• Ensure customer implementation projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and within all business requirements and specifications
• Work with technology and professional services departments to coordinate development and delivery of services
• Responsible for producing all required project management documentation such as - detailed project plans, work plans, product delivery schedules, project estimates, conversion schedules, resource plans, status reports and financials
• Monitors project performance and interacts regularly with project sponsor, internal and external customers and other stakeholders to ensure good visibility and communication of the project
• Ensures all parties (internal and external) are aware of project scope and milestones. Highlights divergence from project scope and adjusts it where necessary to reflect changing circumstances.
• Oversee development and management of standard operating procedures within industry best practices and PCI-DSC guidelines and standards
• Influence and contribute to successful change including new ways of doing business
• Adheres to Global and Divisional PMO standards
• Facilitate the identification and  resolution of project issues
• Manage project related risks
• Deal with and solve service issues that arise

 
Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ experience managing IT projects
• Demonstrated experience delivering PM discipline, structure and order to an evolving and unstructured PM environment
• Exposure to diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments is highly desired. Experience in a large enterprise with SAP is ideal.
• PMP Certification
• Sound knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and methodologies
• Strong organization, communication and problem solving skills
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills
• Proven coaching, motivation and staff development skills
• Demonstrated success in effective delivery

• An understanding of PCI-DSS and PA-DSS requirements is a definite asset
• Willing to put in extra time and effort, when necessary, sometimes without warning.

Some national and international travel may be required.  Therefore, applicants must hold a valid Canadian passport, have the ability to obtain a valid Canadian passport, or hold a valid passport from a country that can access Great Britain, Europe, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand.
