Description

The North American Stamping Group consist of six stamping facilities in Canada, the USA and Mexico. We are an automotive tier 2 metal stamper, welder and assembler. Due to our continued growth we are currently recruiting to fill the following position.

 

Sales Engineer

In this position, you will assist the Sales Managers to develop marketing and sales plans to maintain and expand current customer base.  

Ideally you will maintain a home office in the Detroit or Windsor area

Duties Include:
           Attend all training sessions and activities to maintain awareness of new product lines and changes in existing products.

           Gain understanding of all company products, including understanding of current market trends, pricing, and production capabilities and be able to inform current and potential customers of all company products that may satisfy their current operational needs.
           Acquire new customers in previously established and unknown territory by assisting other sales personnel in sales calls and marketing strategies.
           Compile data concerning growth-oriented business plans, customer satisfaction, and sales forecasting in various regions.

 

  • Requirements
    Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and the United States.
  • Minimum of five years experience in the automotive metal stamping, welding and assembly industry combined with related post secondary education in engineering, sales and or marketing preferred.
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Solid background & understanding of Progressive dies, metal stamping, resistance & robotic welding.
  • Good organizational, project management & people skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office, CAD software experience would be an asset.
  • Fluency in Japanese would be considered an asset.
