The North American Stamping Group consist of five stamping facilities in Canada, the USA and Mexico. We are an automotive tier 2 metal stamper, welder and assembler. Our facility located in Woodstock Ontario is currently recruiting to fill the following position:
Project / Tooling Engineer
Your primary responsibilities will be to manage tooling projects to insure that required implementation dates and process design are adhered to as well as process improvement. To attain this goal you will be a hands on individual who is required to track multiple tooling projects from design feasibility through to installation and buy off.
To be successful in this position you will have the following qualifications
· Must have strong technical hands on experience relating to transfer and progressive metal stamping dies and hold an Ontario Tool and die certificate of qualification, or a post secondary diploma in an engineering related field.
· 3 to 5 years experience in Tooling engineering and project management.
· Previous experience with stainless steel and robotic welding would be considered an asset
· Proficiency in MS Office software.
This position requires a team oriented person who posses the lets get it done attitude.
