Our client in the Windsor area is looking to add a Quality Manager to their team.
Responsibilities include:
? Manage the company’s QMS and documentation
? Plan, organize, schedule and maintain the activities of the quality department
? Liaise with customers, suppliers, production and engineering to ensure customer requirements are met
? Implement the QA program per company’s quality policy and contract specification requirements of custom projects
? Finalize design specifications, supplier selection and material procurement
? Arrange acceptance testing (factory and customers’ sites)
? Prepare documents for PPAP package submissions for OEM customers
? Arrange internal and external audits
? Maintain and review process sheets, quality records, management review meeting notes, internal and external audit reports, quality procedures, exhibits, customer feedback, issue non-conformity reports, and implement corrective and preventative action
? Perform root cause analysis, suggest remedy, apply lean manufacturing using process mapping techniques to solve technical problems and reduce cost
Minimum Qualifications:
? Minimum 3 years’ post-professional experience or equivalent experience
? Minimum 3 years’ full working knowledge and experience maintaineing QMS system as Manager/Engineer/Supervisor/Inspector from an entrepreneurial, industrial, production environment or through ISO Auditor experience
? Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent
? Certified ASQ Quality Engineer, or Lean Six Sigma, is a tremendous asset
? Proven track record in achieving quality targets
? Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills
