Job Description

On behalf of our client, LucasWorks! is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join a leading company in Windsor, ON. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with good communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate weekly payments
• Receive and verify invoices
• Vendor follow up to obtain missing documents, clarification of statements and to address any unresolved accounts payable issues
• Maintain the prepaid schedule and capital asset tracking
• Review and coordinate weekly payments
• Coordinate packing slips with corresponding purchase orders
• Perform the day to day processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions and reports
• Support associated accounting staff and processes where required
• Communicate with customers

Qualifications and Education

• Post secondary school diploma or equivalent in accounting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to perform well in high pressure situations and meet deadlines
• Must have at least 2 years experience in accounting
• Demonstrated proficiency and understanding of applied accounting principles and system software such as Trans4M
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
