THE POSITION
- Involved in the design and improvement of the electrical controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems associated with new and existing equipment.
- Programs machine controllers, Human Machine Interfaces, setup industrial networks, and provides technical support.
- Supports product launches (internal and external) by involvement in APQP and troubleshooting equipment during the implementation process.
- Leads or participates in a variety of multi-disciplinary teams engaged in pursuing company goals or supporting product launches.
- Established and / or monitors appropriate timelines for completion of projects based on the needs of the customer (internal and external)
- Comply with company policies and procedures supporting the quality management system, environmental management system, and health and safety.
- Works closely with external contractors on surplus internal project work.
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU OFFER
- College Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Two to five years electrical controls and automotive experience.
- Knowledge of PLC programming, robotics, electrical control systems / circuits.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Computer literacy and AutoCad.
