Lucas Professional Search Group is currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Representative to join a team of talented professionals.  The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for obtaining new business as well as maintaining and growing existing customers.
 
Responsibilities:

• Prospect for new clients
• Travel to visit potential clients
• Develop and grow long-term relationships
• Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client’s needs
• Calculate client quotations
• Negotiate and close sales, along with analyze costs and sales
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
• Administer client accounts
• Meet and exceed sales targets as well as forecasting
• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events

 
Qualification:

• 3+ years of experience in technical sales
• Personable and friendly
• Ability to problem solve
• Great communication and presentation skills
• Must be prepared for travel when required
