Sous Chef
POSITION SUMMARY The Sous Chef is accountable to the Manager, Nutrition and Wellness, and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Ronald McDonald House Southwestern Ontario (RMH-SWO) kitchen sites. Primary responsibility includes daily culinary preparation of meals providing nourishment to families, running an efficient and safe kitchen, and engagement and supervision of kitchen volunteers or groups. This role is focused on “Keeping Families Close” through excellence in program delivery, upholding the highest of safety standards, and continuous quality improvement Status: This role is to fill an existing vacancy Position Type: This is a full-time position Artificial Intelligence: AI-supported tools may be used in parts of the selection process to help evaluate applications, however, our HR system itself does not include any AI functionality. All hiring decisions are made by people. Compensation: To ensure fair and equitable pay, placement within the salary range will be based on your experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role. Hiring salary range: $38,000 to $40,000 Benefits include dental and extended health, 3 weeks paid vacation, 10 sick days, 2 wellness days, and flexible scheduling options.
