1.0 FTE Temporary Caretaker
VHSS (Langton, ON)

Grand Erie’s 2800 employees provide quality education to approximately 26,000 full-time equivalent students who attend our 72 schools.  The Board spans a geographic area encompassing the City of Brantford and the Counties of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk. The head office is located in Brantford. The Board is currently seeking a 1.0 FTE Temporary Caretaker to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • To maintain the school in a clean, sanitary and safe manner overtime and use of a personal vehicle may be required
  • overtime and use of a personal vehicle may be required
  • may be required to be available for a call-back outside of regular working hours for emergency situations

Qualifications:
  • Must have satisfactory experience and/or training at performing the tasks and duties of a caretaker
  • Additional qualifications and abilities relative to the duties to be performed may be considered an asset when determining the award of this position
  • Attendance and punctuality history will be a factor in selection
 
Job Specifications
Hours of Work Afternoon shift, 40-hours per week, 12 months per year
Rate of Pay As per the collective agreement
